The Branson: the Movie, a documentary about the world’s largest city that’s being directed by Mark Johnson, has been announced as the winner of the 2018 SXSW Film Festival.
It is also scheduled to be released in theaters in February.
In a press release, Johnson explained that he and the Branson community are in an important moment of history, as we embark on our fourth decade together as a film company and our fourth century as an entertainment company.
We look forward to working with all of you to ensure Branson can continue to deliver the excitement that our fans have come to expect, including the world premiere of the movie in theaters and on home video.
The movie will be produced by Johnson’s production company, The Bransons, and will be directed by Oscar winner Mark Johnson.
The film will also feature the voice of a star from the movie, Paul F. Tompkins.
It’s been nearly two years since Branson was filmed.
The production was originally scheduled to open in theaters on May 10, 2019.
However, a scheduling conflict forced the movie to be moved to the middle of March.
The Brains are also excited to announce that the film will be released on home videocassette and DVD this February.
It will be available for pre-order from Paramount Home Entertainment, along with the film’s official Blu-ray release.
Branson’s director of photography, Paul B. Pfluger, is also a longtime friend and collaborator of Johnson.
We are thrilled to work with him on this project.
The Branson series has become a cult classic in the world of entertainment and has been praised by critics and audiences alike.
It has earned an Oscar nomination for Best Short Documentary.
It was nominated for a Golden Globe, Emmy, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Picture.
Johnson and Pfluga teamed up to produce and distribute Branson.
The story follows Branson, an American entrepreneur who owns and operates the largest entertainment company in the city of Branson and its surrounding region, based on a concept called the Bransonian Dream.
Branson has had the biggest year of any movie released in the country so far.
In 2017, Branson earned $4.9 billion in ticket sales, and in 2018 it took in $5.3 billion.
It also topped box office grosses for its five-year run in theaters, taking in $8.9 million in its first year of play.
Bransons second biggest market, Los Angeles, will be the film center for the film.
It’ll be available to stream on Paramount Home Media, iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play Movies, Amazon Video and Xbox Live.
The final production date is still to be determined, but the film is set for release in 2019.
